Plot Script Story Spoilers Rumors: As the iconic
and legendary character named Robin Hood, Russell Crowe
in 13th century England, with Robin Hood's merry group of
misfits, fights an oppressive situation in a small village
and Robin Hood leads a revolt against the King of England,
which has an impact on the fate of the world.

Although some view Robin Hood as a dangerous bandit with
evil minions, others view Robin Hood and his side kicks as
valiant heroes. From obscure origins, Robin Hood emerges as
a freedom fighter of his followers for the ages. Robin Hood
has become an expert archer, caring only about his own
personal glory and well being, while battling the French in
King Richard's military.

After King Richard dies, Robin Hood arrives in the Nottingham
village that is being destroyed by the complete corruption and
high taxes initiated by the Sheriff of Nottingham. During this
adventure, Robin Hood falls in love with the enchanting Maid
Marion (Cate Blanchett), but Lady Marion doubts the true
intentions of Robin Hood with regards to Robin Hood's plan to
save Nottingham.

While wanting to win the heart of Maid Marion in marriage while
saving the people of Nottingham, Robin Hood starts a group of
mercenaries to take the wealth of the aristocracy in order to
benefit the common individuals. However, all of England has been
torn apart and weakened by endless years of war under the
ineffectual control of the new king.

The entire nation remains open to attack from internal and
external threats. Robin Hood and his personal army seek to avoid
plunging England into civil war and bring wonderful golden times
back to England.
